I do NOT bite the heads off of chickens!

So, what does one do when their dream gets crushed?

Well, you mope around for a while, work a shitty job, get involved in an ill-concieved irc relationship that you're now 99% over, and then you go into computers.

So yeah, melodrama aside, these are a few amusing diversions I've come up with. The shockwave plug-in may be required.

Sacred Red Dot
The first game I made with Director. It's loosely based on little drawings I made of tie fighters throughout some of my more boring classes. I scrapped the original version, because it was written in one night, plus Director 7 let me do some free rotation. I'm always tweaking the game, and eventually I may even get around to adding that high score board.

Just what was in Those Power Pellets
My first job with a new media company kind of fizzled out. They were small, made some business mistakes, and the owner got sick. That's a really simple version, but I don't want to bore with with the tale of woe that was my old job. The point is there wasn't much work coming in near the end, so I decided to amuse myself with flash. Power Pellets was the result.

Never Trip with a Ghost in the Pale Moon Light,
A continuation of the video game rave thing I was messing around with in the piece above. Drawing those damn ghosts with flash is a pain in the ass, especially when you have little to no formal art training. (yes I realize that training isn't necessary, but just because you weren't born with the ability to draw beautiful things doesn't mean you can't learn. It doesn't mean you can either, but this is a rant for another time and place.)

Unless you Have Control
Same as above, but it's done in Director and has a little slider control.

You're going to hell!
Very crude shockwave piece. My computer was acting up again and all I had access too was a lab that had squat for fonts. This guy came and lectured us while we waited to take the very tourist trolly car to the very tourist warf. It's kind of vague, so just click on things to cross them off the list, then click on the bottom of the sign to calculate.

Disgruntled Goat
First things first. The Disgruntled Goat drawing is from The Simpsons. All I did was animate it and program the control. This is an example of what happens when you take someone out of a semi-private cubicle and throw them into a large room with other people.
