The Good: The Man™ gives a lot of us a day off, and is forced to pay the rest of us extra.
The Bad: Everything shuts down, forcing you to become much better aquatinted with your cat and/or liquor cabinet.
One other thing. The pilgrims? They were too stuck up and prudish for The English to deal with. I love eating as much as the next guy, but that’s what we’re celebrating?
I’ve been passing on that for the past seven or eight years, and I think I’ll keep that tradition alive.
